District NYI Convention Registration

NC District NYI Convention 2017

Each church needs to register for the District NYI Convention being held this year on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Elon Power Line Church of the Nazarene.  See the District NYI Convention page for more info on the event.  Continue reading here for registration information.

Please fill in the form below and then click the submit button once (If you would like a copy for your records, please print the page that loads after you click “submit”).  Please note that each church has individuals who are delegates because of the office he or she holds (DISTRICT NYI Council members, the district superintendent, local pastors, and other assigned ordained ministers of the district who participate in NYI ministry and delegates elected by each local NYI).  See Manual 2013-2017, Par. 810.219.3, pg 301)  All persons must be members of your local Nazarene church to be eligible to be delegates to the NC District NYI Convention (Par 810.219.4).  Please let us know at Registration if you need to seat any alternate delegates.

If your local NYI has 45 NYI members or less, you can elect 4 delegates (in addition to ex officio delegates: NYI President, pastor, youth pastor, and any District NYI Council members from your local church).  If your local NYI has from 46-75 NYI members, you may elect 5 delegates.  If 76-105 NYI members, you may elect 6 delegates.  (Table below is from page 302 of the Manual 2013-2017.)

Please remember to bring $10 per delegate with you to convention for our shared lunch together. Your registration above includes your group’s registration for lunch.

* Number of elected delegates from a local NYI does not include ex officio delegates (NYI president, pastor, youth pastor, District NYI Council members from a local church, etc.).

    Did Our registration go through for Pittsboro? I hit Go Back by accident and it gave me a blank screen and I wanted to make sure I didn’t accidentally erase it. Thanks, Ronda
